About TAKUHOU MISA

Takuhou Misa born in Osaka, Japan. 

I started studying the traditional art of Japanese Calligraphy  called Shodo ( ADD JAPANESE CHARACTERS) .
 I started learning from the famous Houen Wakamatsu at the age of five years old. I obtained a master of Japanese Calligraphy at the mere age of twenty. 

I want to express myself through my Shodo artwork in order to convey the beauty of Japanese Caligraphy. 
I started my venture when I noticed that people loved my artwork while I was traveling.  

I sold my artwork to tourists and residents, I wrote their name in the traditional way of Japanese writing in order for them to have a greater love of Shodo.

I design welcome boards, tattoo designs, any kinds of cards or parchment… upon your request. 
During the month of February 2016 in Tokyo, I had a solo exhibition in an art gallery featuring my work.
